La Peral Cheese

La Peral is an artisan cheese exclusively manufactured in a family-run dairy in the small town of San Jorge de La Peral, in Asturias. It is made from pasteurized cow milk and sheep whey and ripened from two to five months.

La Peral is a rindless straw-colored blue-cheese of an intense flavor and aroma, very creamy and buttery in texture, slightly piquant and a bit salty.
